Messages from Our Puppy Owners:
Sadie 6 months old in Overland Park
Hi Sharon,
Thought we would send you some recent pictures of Sadie, and give you an update of what's been going on. Sadie graduated from puppy training classes, and we're now in the advanced class. She's the youngest and smartest in her class. Everywhere we go people say how beautiful she is, and they love her markings. Our vet even said her markings were the prettiest he's ever seen. She loves going for walks, playing with her toys and hiding them, and follows us everywhere we go. She has lost all her puppy teeth now, and weighs about 30 lbs. She rings the bell on the door when she has to go outside. She's never barked to go outside or even barked if someone comes to the door. She's been a very lovable puppy, and loves to lay on her back and get her belly rubbed. We should get together and meet at the park soon! Sadie misses you!

Here are pictures I took today! And finally got them transferred to my computer so could email them - not sure exactly how that happened! Ellie is such a character - she kind of calls the shots, and is the first pup we've ever had that prefers me! So she has me around her little paw, too..
Cardigan in Colo.
Just wanted you to know Cardigan is doing well. We love her and thank you for steering us to our gentle, affectionate pup. From the Beach Family
Macy in Overland Park
I just want you to know that Macy is the sweetest dog in the world and we just love everyday with her. My whole family just adores her and she is a good older sister to Kirkwood. Makes me want to have tons and tons of Springers :-)
Summer in Rhode Island
6 months old
I've got to tell you we just adore her. She is growing fast. She is so nicely tempered and is training well. She is so beautiful. Her coat shines and she is just such a fun-loving dog with bounce and energy. My son is absolutely in love with her and they romp in the yard just as I once envisioned him doing with his dog. Sometimes I think it might be fun to have another one! All of our friends and neighbors comment on how pretty she is and how nicely tempered she is. Thanks for this gift. We are very pleased as you can surely tell. How are some of her brothers and sisters? Hopefully all as happy as Summer!
Regards.

Winston 4 months in Texas

Sharon
Just wanted to let you know that Col Tom is doing great.
We named him Winston and it fits.
He has been to the vet for his round of shots already and is going back to get the remaining next week. The Vet was impressed with how in shape he is.
He was walking on a leash 1 week after I brought him home and has been walking to school every morning since. Winston loves the water.
He has been so good he is getting plenty of exercise and attention. He has travelled with us with no problems. House training was no problem but he does like to sneek in the closets and retrieve a shoe just to show that he can.
Just being a pup.
Daphne (Left) 7 months Drake and Dakota's litter and Piper 5 months from Tehya and Petey's litter. Her new home is in Arkansas.
Sharon,
The girls are doing great. Piper graduted from puppy school a couple of weeks ago. Piper is much more petite than Daphne. Her legs are long but her build is smaller. Daphne is solid.
Their personalities are different. Piper always looks happy and loves to cuddle. Daphne is more serious looking and jumps the gate to get a break from Piper when she's had enough. They wrestle all the time. Sometimes I think Daphne gets too rough, but Piper keeps coming back for more.
We really enjoy having them around. They are beautiful. My entire family fell in love with them.

Ellie 9 weeks. Presley and Thaiden's '09 litter. Her new home is in San Francisco
Hi Sharon!
We just wanted to email to tell you that Ellie is doing great! It's been really warm in San Francisco this weekend so she's been enjoying the sunshine. Friday and Saturday nights were a little short on sleep as she got use to everything, but she's doing very well. Last night she only woke up once. She's been getting lots of exercise and attention, as she's been spending most of her time in our back yard playing, running around, and doing some digging. She went on 5 walks today and is having fun exploring the neighborhood.
She's such a sweetheart and we love her to death. She's adapted so well it amazes me, and she's learning quickly. She's catching on to the potty training and we're working on "sit" this week.
I took a few pictures for you and attached them here. We took her to a grassy area on Sunday that had the Palace of Fine Arts as a backdrop, and would have been the perfect picture of Ellie in San Francisco, but unfortunately we forgot the camera. Next time we'll make sure to get one of her with the Golden Gate bridge in the background.
Thanks again... we're all having so much fun together and we love her so much!
Jessie (left) is from Presley and Drake's litter
Riley (right) is from Presley and Thaiden's litter
Hi Sharon,
Jessie and Riley are doing Great! What a pair they make.
Riley has grown to be a little taller than Jessie, but you
Sure can tell they are related. I can’t tell them apart
Sometimes. Being a year apart in age, their
Energy level is about the same and they keep me busy
Getting all that energy burned off. The walks, dog parks,
Runs out on the farm, and yup, that treadmill, gets the
Job done pretty much. Anything to keep them active
Keeps them happy. When they get going out in the back
Yard, it is something to see. I’ve never seen a couple
Dogs that play so hard and have so much fun together.
As well as they get along together, they both love spending
Time with me, if its just playing, doing obedience training,
Doing tricks or just hanging around with me. They are so loyal
And fun-loving, it’s such a joy to have them as companions.
These guys are pretty smart as well. With minimal effort on
My part, Jessie came in 4th out of 11 other dogs in an 8 week
Obedience class last year. Not to be outdone, Riley was
This years “Top Dog”. He got 1st place out of 11 other dogs
In the 8 week obedience class. They love to train and they
Both worked the judging ring as pros.
Jessie and Riley are such fun to be around. They have distinct
Personalities, and love attention. They are fun loving dogs
And make great companions. It seems like everyone they come
In contact with gives them complements on their appearance
And on their demeanor.
Thanks again, for getting me together with these
Unbelievable K9 friends.
Hi Sharon, Thought I might give you an update on Jessie and Riley. They are both doing fantastic! Jessie has grown to be both a great loving & loyal companion and also a beautiful dog as well. She's my best friend and is the pride of the neighborhood as far as dogs go. She is very well mannered around others, dogs, people and kids too. Loves attention to no end. At just over a year old, she now has her full coat and she gets groomed with the traditional Springer style. We get complements where ever we go as to how beautiful she is. And does she lap up all the attention she gets. To my surprise, she doesn't mind sharing the spotlight with Riley. What a wonderful dog she truly is. Riley, What an unbelievable dog he's turning out to be! At just over 4 months old, he's becoming the king of the hill. Wants to do everything Jessie does and loves to show off. He watched Jessie fetch the paper so many times that he now thinks its his job to fetch it. What a sight when I let them both out at the same time to get it. 2 dogs with 1 paper. They don't fight over it, they each grab an end and bring it in the house. It gets a little ripped up, but it's worth watching. He loves the treadmill too. Couldn't believe it, but Jessie was on it and he got all worked up, so I put him on it and away he went. Don't know what it is about that thing, but they both love it. He's going to puppy classes now (4th week into an 8 week course). I have him enrolled in the same obedience class Jessie was in last year. That will start the 1st of September. He's getting all the training Jessie got and then some. I said Jessie has become my best friend, but Riley is right there with her. He's my buddy. I've taught him to give me a hi-five which is really cool. He's funny, silly, crazy, and just one heck of a pup. He's turning out to be my co-best friend. I love them both to death and I think vise-versa. Enjoy the pictures.
Cassie pictured at 1 year. She lives in West Virginia and is from Drake and Dakota's '07 litter.
Good morning Sharon, We love her to no end. She is such a companion and extremely intelligent. Quick to train and great with children. She just loves to play. She was house trained in a matter of two weeks. One strange trait is she will sit in front of you and hand you her front paw to be "massaged" under her pads. She will sit there for minutes at a time and exchange paws to be rubbed. Don't forget to send pictures of all her brothers and sisters from her litter. Thanks so much for providing us with a loving companion. Stan & Nancy King
Sir Maxwell pictured at 6 months. He is from Thaiden and Makenzie's '07 litter and lives in Arizona.
Hi, Sharon
Hope all is well, Sir Maxwell is turning out to have great and Loving personality, I hope you enjoy his photo's I will keep in contact with you as Maxwell grows. God Bless You. Sincerely, Lilly in Shawnee Hi Sharon. Good to hear from you. Lilly is doing great – she is the sweetest dog ever! She loves to swim and run and is completely spoiled. Here are a couple pictures we just took today of her.
Have a great day!

Thanks Jessica
Gracie (in front)pictured at 4 weeks. She went to her new home in Shawnee at 8 weeks.
Gracie is doing fine. A very active dog, very
affectionate, loves kids, strong willed(we begin dog
school next week) Gracie is very smart!! Is potty
trained gets along great with other dogs. Playing and
running fast are her favorite hobbies. She never
chews on her rawhide bones but hides them all over my
house, under books, in corners, under the bathmat,it
is a very serious job to "bury" these bones. My
daughter in law gave Gracie a fluffy pink blankie when
I brought her home and she loves it, hauls it all over
the house and sleeps with it at night just like a
toddler. Thanks for my puppy !!! Gayle Boston 2 years, lives in Edwardsville. He is from Dakota and Drake's '07 litter

Boston:
Our Springer spaniel, Boston, is the friendliest dog I’ve ever encountered. He has the most out-going and sweet demeanor one could ask for in a pup. Not to mention, he is strikingly handsome!
Boston joined us after taking him home at 8 weeks, and has never left our side. He loves to play and show off, both with humans and other doggies. When we take him to the park, he runs to meet other dogs and seems to have no fear when encountering larger breeds. Yet, he is very gentle with smaller breeds (and children!).
With humans, he is eager to please and show others what a good boy he is for us. Boston loves to meet new people and seems to remember the old. One sniff and he’s sitting on their lap or taking them his favorite soccer ball for a game of catch. My husband loves that Boston can fetch, as he’s always wanted a dog to play Frisbee…and boy is Boston a leaper!! He doesn’t take his eye off that moving target until it’s safely in his mouth. This leads me to believe he’d be an amazing bird dog, as their breed should be.
Besides being friendly, Boston can also be extremely protective. He is sure to let strangers know he’s there to protect his family! This is great for us, as he helps me feel safe at night when I’m alone. He seems to take care of me when we’re on walks, rather than the other way around.
Wherever we take Boston, whether on a walk or to the pet store, he receives numerous compliments. He is a stunning dog and it’s hard to miss him! We often hear, “What a beautiful dog,” or, “He has the prettiest eyes.” Boston has light circles of tan around his brown eyes, set against his liver and white fur.
Beyond being friendly, protective, and striking, Boston is very, very smart. This is probably no surprise as Springers are known for their intelligence. However, he really surprised us to show his skills so young! Boston knew his name within the first few weeks at home, and only a short while later knew Sit and Speak. It took no time to teach him Come, Lay, Go Potty and so forth. The groomers have told us how smart Boston is as well. They noticed first he was scared of the clippers, but once he realized they don’t hurt he calmed right down. The groomer told me that most dogs will remain in the state they were when the grooming started. By calming down and changing his mood, Boston showed the groomers what a smart and good doggie he is!
We kennel Boston during the day while we are at work and he does wonderfully with the kennel. In fact, during the tornado storms the other day, he headed straight for his “safe space,” and knows when we leave the house it’s time to hop in.
I can’t say enough what a great addition he’s been to our family.
Maddy 1 year. She is from Prelsey and Drake's '08 litter. She lives in California.
Sharon- You wouldn't believe it, but Maddy was perfect on the long long flight to North Carolina. She didn't make a peep and bounced back quickly. Now she's terrorizing this house and making us all laugh. I'll try to send a picture in the next few days, She is such a delight. She makes me laugh all the time. You know, she's so smart. She is really a rascal, but is already good about asking to go outside to do her business, and is absolutely no trouble at night in her crate. It's hot here, so I've got her a little swimming pool in the backyard. She gets in it and literally spins. We are so happy with her!

General 20 months

We were so lucky to get our General. He has been wonderful. Sharon is there for you for the long haul. When they quit making our puppy food, I was able to call Sharon and get here advice on what would be a great brand. She really cares about her pets and wants to make sure the puppies go to a good home. At our first vet visit they said wow were did you get this dog. Healthy and well behaved. That has not changed. General is a prize no matter where he goes. General was 4 months old when we adopted him and he was amazing. Playing catch, really potty trained and easy to train in other area's. I know springer's are hunting dogs however, they really have a need for affection they do think the should be lap dogs. They will follow you everywhere and what to know what is going on at all times. He has been a total joy to have around. I would purchase another Springer from Sharon. Sincerely T. Purdue
